Welcome
to the Judith Bailey website

Judith Bailey (1941-2025) was a
British composer who published extensively in
various forms. After training at the Royal Academy of Music in
London, she spent some 30 years freelancing and was conductor
of the Southampton Concert and Petersfield Orchestras. In 2001
she returned to her native Cornwall. Judith's compositions have
been been widely performed. She also painted and some of her pictures
can be seen here.
These pages were originally
created in November 2006 and were last updated in July 2026. Several scores have been added and these may be accessed via the links below.
Sadly Judith passed away on 16 March 2025 after a short illness and her obituary is here.
