Essence of Cornwall

 


 

Essence of Cornwall is a two-piano piece by Judith Bailey which was commissioned by Jean and Patrick Waller, and completed in March 2021. There are 3 parts: Beach Waltz, Nature Reserve, and Granite and Moor. It has since been transcribed for one piano by Stephen Carleston and the premiere was given by Duncan Honeybourne at the composer's 80th birthday concert in Truro Cathedral on 10 July 2021.
