From Keith Llewellyn, Secretary of the Malcolm Arnold Society -

Adrian's time with the Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra was a gift to the Society and myself. His warm interpretations of the compositions of Sir Malcolm Arnold at so many concerts were prodigious, and the live performances over a period of thirty years did more to promote the composer's music than any other amateur conductor in the rest of the UK.

I was fortunate to have known Adrian. He was a lovely man and had the knowledge and enthusiasm to go with it.
