EDGAR BAINTON - List of Piano Works

Bainton was a very accomplished pianist in the composer-pianist tradition of his time. He was soloist in his own Concerto Fantasia on several occasions, and his own playing can be heard in surviving archive recordings, particularly the Cello Sonata (John Kennedy/Composer, Columbia LOX 811-2). Unfortunately the published piano solo works, though well-written and effective, are of a lightweight, educational variety, though there are notable exceptions (listed with *).
