Unfortunately the sleeve note is entirely in Polish, of which I understand not a word! However, I did work out that this is a youth band and in my opinion a very pleasant youth band that has been well rehearsed and plays with precision and confidence a programme of classic big band music. There are two vocalists, one male and one female, both singing in English and both give creditable performances. All the sections have a nice overall sound; I particularly liked the saxes, and the rhythm section is nicely together.

On the evidence of this record, the future of big band music in Poland is in good hands. These young musicians have their whole career ahead of them; I would like to hear them again in a few years' time, when they have had a chance to develop their own jazz styles in solos.
