There is no other way to put it, this is HELLOWEEN at their absolute
best, live or otherwise. The group had risen from complete obscurity
after many years and recordings and seemed on the precipice of that huge
blast to the top that all musicians dream of and this is reflected in the
band's performance on these six tracks.
The fact that the songs contained here go miles beyond the recorded
versions should be obvious but what might not be so easy to recognize, at
least at first listen, is the brilliance of each individual members
showmanship. The repartee of Michael Kiske with the audience takes this
record beyond any simple audio experience, you are fully enveloped in the
show and will likely respond to the stage commands to sing as if you were
actually there.
Recorded in 1988 on the "KEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS PT2" tour this
document is left largely un-neatened and thank the producers for having
left it as such. Brilliant work that should have signaled the coming of
stardom on a much larger scale than the band would ever actually attain.
