CANDIRIA WILL PLAY UK IN JANUARY 2002 NEW DATES ANNOUNCED WITH RAGING SPEEDHORN AND CLUTCH TO REPLACE TOUR CANCELLED IN SEPTEMBER JUST DAYS AFTER THEIR CITY WAS ATTACKED
After
having to postpone their UK dates in September with Biohazard which also
included a headlining London show due the awful events that unfolded in
their hometown of New York the untaggable Brooklyn outfit were adamant
that they'd be here in the UK as soon as they could make it. We are proud
to announce that CANDIRIA will be blowing your collective minds due to
the forethought of UK outfit RAGING SPEEDHORN who have invited them to
come along for one of the craziest rides of the New Year. Seemingly the
Corby Terror Sextet were struck when they both appeared at the Beast Feast
Festival in Yokohama, Japan at the tail end of August.
Not content with mixing up the heaviest of eclectic packages ever seen on these shores they wanted CLUTCH as well. In the meantime CANDIRIA have just announced they will do the bulk of the Metallenium Tour in then USA between the 26th of September and the 31st of October along with 6 FEET UNDER, LAMB OF GOD, GOD FORBID and DARKEST HOUR. Due to previous commitments the band will hop off the tour to do shows in Japan with CRYPTOPSY and NASUM between the 9th and 11th of October and then re-join on the 18th until it finishes in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Halloween.

On the 31st of October 2001 CANDIRIA have the track, "Constant Velocity is as Natural as Being at Rest", featured on Kerrang! Magazine's "Best Of 2001" cover mount CD, which was chosen by Kerrang writers. Just out is the new Rock Sound November issue which features an interview along with cover mount CD track "300% Density".
