Hey I remember THE ALMIGHTY. They were the British gents who were pegged for greatness and soon after disappeared from the radar as grunge beat down the Aquanet crowd that THE ALMIGHTY was unfairly lumped in with. Well, they are back, in a form, and not needing much hairspray these days either but then they went more for that biker look anyway. "THE ALMIGHTY" is a testosterone junkie's last big fix, pure and uncut. Rock with a punk snarl and enough sex appeal to convince your girlfriend to do your road dogs without nary a complaint.
An evening with "THE ALMIGHTY" in the disc player means that you will have truckloads of guitars a-buzzing, cymbals a-jangling, bass a-rattling and handcuffs being used in some fashion. This is an excellent rock record from an exceptional rock band. Welcome back boys and please don't stay away for so long next time please.
