Funny Lady (1975) was the sequel to the very successful Funny
Girl (1968) in which Barbara Streisand played Fanny Brice a
non-too-good-looking girl from New York's east side who becomes a big Broadway
star but looses her husband in the process. Streisand appears again as Fanny
Brice in Funny Lady with James Cann as Billy Rose. She belts out these
comic and romantic songs with all her usual gusto and emotional wallop -
need I say more.
