Guild GmbH are proud to announce the imminent release of four CDs in their widely-acclaimed Historical series of legendary performances. Previous issues of broadcasts from the 1930s to the early 1950s by such great artists as Arturo Toscanini and Fritz Busch have won universal acclaim for the care and attention which Guild’s engineers have given to these performances, ensuring that the highest possible fidelity to the artists and to the music has been achieved, enabling today’s listeners to enjoy these performances as never before.

Now, whilst continuing the series of historic broadcasts, Guild extends its repertoire to include post-war commercial and live recordings by great artists of the past. These artists include conductors Sir John Barbirolli, Paul Kletzki, Serge Koussevitzky and pianist Witold Malcuzynski. Further titles in this series are in active preparation and will be released at the rate of 2 releases every two months.
