These 9 releases include many gems from the Decca archive, including Arthur Bliss conducting his own compositions; the rarely heard Piano Concerto by Delius; Holst's chamber opera masterpiece, Savitri; a disc of Church Music by Herbert Howells; songs by Ireland, Rubbra and Quilter; Tippett's Byzantium and a disc of delightful music by Peter Warlock. Decca are also pleased to publish a 1996 recording by Andrew Litton and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra - released here for the first time.
