STILL, Robert

d Bucklebury, Berkshire, 13 January 1971, aged sixty

He was educated at Eton, at Trinity College, Oxford, from 1929 to 1932, and the Royal College of Music from 1932 to 1934. He did not start serious composing until after World War II. In 1963 he was given the Oxford DMus.
