CHAMINADE, Cecile
b Paris, 8 August 1857
d Monte Carlo, 18 April 1944, aged eighty-six

A pupil of Godard, she began composing at the age of eight, and from the age of eighteen was appearing frequently in concerts, often playing her own works.
