CALCULATING THE COST |
ACCOMMODATION FEES
You can choose between three hotel Categories (De Lux, A and B) for your accommodation, in double or triple rooms. A limited number of single rooms is available for each Choir (for Conductors, Pianists, administration escorts etc.). All hotels provided by the Festival are located in the city of Rhodes and are of the best in their category (fully air-conditioned and all rooms with private bathroom, TV, telephone etc.).
The prices below are given per person and per day and are including:
a) overnight, b) american (buffet) breakfast (daily), c) one complete meal (daily),
d) transfers: Rhodes Airport - Hotel - Rhodes Airport and Hotel - Concert Hall - Hotel for each performing Choir,
e) escorts, f) all state and city taxes.
An airport tax should be paid by the Choir on departure from Hellenic Airports. Usually this is included in your air-ticket fee. Advice your tour agent who will issue the air-tickets.
The prices concern to Choir members, as well as to their escorts (if any), and are the same if a Choir wish to come earlier or to extend the stay in Rhodes.

There is an alternative for this year: The Organizing Committee has the right to arrange for all the participants a hotel of De Lux standards, located a few kilometers far from the Centre of the City of Rhodes, at the price of a B Category hotel. Guaranteed transfer with luxurious buses.
Having the above prices, you can easily calculate by your own the cost concerning to your group.
Half of the total cost should be sent the latest till 28 February 2003 and the rest should be paid the latest on the arrival of the Choir at the Hotel or if wish by crediting our account before you arrival in Rhodes (suggested).
PRICE LIST FOR EXCURSIONS
As it is mentioned in the Regulation, various excursions are available. In the list below is given the cost (in EURO) per person for these excursions in case the members of a Choir wish to take part before, during or after the Festival.

In the above prices are included luxurious air-conditioned coaches, guide speaking the language you wish, transfers and taxes. Entrances (from 2 up to 7 EURO) in museums and archaeological sites are not included. For students coming from the European Community countries entrance is free if they carry their student identity cards.
For choirs that wish to follow excursions No 8-15, the air-tickets to Rhodes should include a stop over in Athens. For these excursions, prices are including overnight in a B Category hotel in double rooms, american breakfast and one meal daily plus an evening in a "traditional Hellenic tavern", all transfers, guide,
If a Choir wishes to join one of the above excursions or entertainment this should be declared in the application form and may paid in Rhodes or in advance. Especially for excursions No 8-15, the 50% of the total amount should be sent the latest till 28 February 2003.
As it is mentioned in the Regulation, fees may be paid:
i) by crediting the Euro acc. No 364 – 002101 – 018653 of the ALPHA BANK Branch 364 Panormou,
under the name of John Papavlassopoulos, the Secretary General of the Festival or
ii) by cheque ordered to John Papavlassopoulos, the Secretary General of the Festival.
