Membership and Members' Benefits

The Society has a worldwide membership of 600 (July 2006) which comprises professional and lay musicians alike, as well as a majority of those simply interested in music.

Members receive the annual journal ‘British Music’ and a quarterly newsletter. The latter contains reviews, brief articles and notices of forthcoming concerts and events. It also provides a forum for members' ideas, opinions and recommendations.

Additionally, members enjoy discounts on most of the Society's own publications and recordings, as well as other special offers (discount rates: Ordinary/Life Members 10%; Patrons 20%).

A free, introductory Membership Information Pack is available on application to the Society's Treasurer, Stephen Trowell (see Contact Us).
