The MusicWeb 2003 Christmas Prize Quiz - REBORN

After the ignominy of the Christmas fiasco the competition is re-born. Previous entrants may re-apply.
The closing date is now January 31st

I regret things went very wrong over the Christmas period. The web server went down, I lost FTP contact with the site but, worst of all, I suffered a hard disc crash which resulted in a total loss of information which included all the e-mail entries to the competition. I had no choice but to abandon the competition.

Sorry.

Len Mullenger

Answers on an e-mail please to Christmas@musicweb-international.com

Closing date:Saturday January 31st and my decisions are final (eventually after reasonable discussion)

First Prize The Shostakovich Quartets: Brodsky Quartet

Other prizes could include the Accentus recording of Choral music including Barber's adagio for choir,
Poulenc songs from the poets Apollinaire, Eluard and Lorca, Mozart Serenades and La Reverdie with
songs and instrumentals from 13th century England and France.

In the event of a tie for first place lots will be drawn. If there is a single winner the remaining discs above
will be awarded to the runners-up.

Please copy and paste the questions into the body of your e-mail and then enter the answers after each question.
